Reviews for INTO THE HEAT!!

I love reviews. Good or bad, they're an indication that someone, somewhere, read what I wrote. And for me, there is no greater joy. Of course, when the reviews are good 'uns, I'm even happier. They're coming in for INTO THE HEAT, and I am tickled!!

Just a few...

Amelia Richard at Ecataromance gave it four stars and said...

"With a firefighter theme for her Heatsheet, the talented Kate Burns takes readers into the world of those men and women who protect others and many natural creations. Her hero and heroine are both firejumpers, who find themselves battling dangerous situations plus the potent attraction between them. Ms. Burns has created appealing characters with Delia and Cooper, where readers slowly become privy to their innermost thoughts. Seeing how these two handle their yearnings was powerfully depicted, making their moments together almost as hot as the fires often surrounding them. This couple also proves how dedicated they are to their careers, as they never put themselves before their work as they know how every second counts when it comes to controlling a fire. The setting for this story is graphically visual, as I often felt as though I was right beside Delia and Cooper during every situation they faced, whether everyday chores or a threatening blaze. INTO THE HEAT is an engaging story where flames often erupt without warning."

Carly at Fallen Angel Review gave it five angels and said...

"This compact story delivers so much in such a short space it’s compelling to the highest degree. I learned a huge amount about smoke jumpers and the job they do. I have always respected this profession but now I am completely blown away by the whole idea of battling forest fires. This story highlights the work fire jumpers do but also shows that beneath the heavy gear, ordinary folks do this job. People who love and laugh and have hot, sexy lives! I particularly enjoyed the depth of emotion felt in these two characters. I could feel their relationship develop and I wanted them to succeed. When they were pulled into the fire, I wanted them to live. Kate Burns delivers an action-packed, sexy story that is sure to titillate, enlighten and entertain. I loved Into the Heat, it was my idea of sizzling on many, many levels!"

I hope you'll read it. And when you do, please drop a line at my blog and let me know what you think. I love to hear from readers!!
